I can’t think of any other title for this post other than calling it what it is. Normally we try not to make to many of the posts on here about us because we think that after a little while you would decide not to come back any more (I know I would).
Anyhow, I just saw the list on the Business Journal website for the best real estate projects of the year and right up on top there in the new infill section is the Good project! It does not mean we won yet but that we are finalists. I am pretty excited about this one. I have been to the last few of the award events and there were (I am guessing) 400-500 people there and some very cool projects getting shown off. Now I know we might not win this one but what a cool thing to be in the running for the project of the year.
I know its a lot of unashamed pride coming through on this post but I am just plain excited and can’t seem to contain it. We put everything we had into making the Good project amazing and its very cool when someone notices.

Sometimes you HAVE to be the one to toot your own horn; you’re the only one who knows the tune to the last stops in the score!
You (and we) should be *very* proud of everything to do with Good – kudos (or mad props: whichever mode you prefer) for everything LJUrban has been doing and is doing!

I think Good is the epitome of a new American Dream – affordable, well-designed housing that contributes to a richer urban fabric. Sacramento should be proud!
In my mind, you’ve already won – mad props are definitely in order.
