    Levi, It’s so true. I think that we are approaching a tipping point where most people will see that the way of living that has worked for half a century or so is untenable. People are thinking about their cars first because it means changing only one part of their lives. True change will require a much bigger shift in their thinking, but I think we are getting closer ($7 or $8/gal gas, perhaps?), IMHO. Thanks for pointing us to the post!

    My wife thinks that $7/gal represents the tipping point for gasoline consumption, and since I am not even capable of understanding her job description, let alone the level of economic theory she works at, I’ll take her word for it. But it sounds about right.

    That article contains just plain too much awesome. Much delicious food for thought!
